You do not need to reinstall the app to email us. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, device keys or identity scans by ordinary email.
To request account deletion, open Account & data from your app profile or email from your verified sign-in address with the subject “Delete emiralX account” or “Delete emiralX Business account”. Requests are reviewed by a person. Opening this page or an email draft does not submit a request or immediately delete an account.
Controls available during testing
- Edit your profile and card details in emiralX.
- In Profile → Privacy & memberships, review each shop’s separate contact and insights permissions and withdraw them.
- Pause Nearby visibility; manage connections and use Block or Report where needed.
- Remove cards, documents or expense entries using the available controls. Removal from a screen is not proof of physical erasure of every stored copy.
- Review AMiN shares and revoke future access there. Disconnecting does not itself erase documents already held by AMiN or downloaded by a recipient.
What a request should contain
State which app you used, whether you want an account deleted, a specific record erased, a copy, a correction, a restriction or an objection, and a safe way for the operator to reply. Identify the account only to the extent necessary. Do not send device keys, a shop-transfer code, payment-card details or passport scans through ordinary email.
Supplying a phone number alone is not proof of account ownership in the current test system. The operator should use a proportionate secure verification method and support people who have already uninstalled the app, rather than requiring a new account or a needless reinstall.
What deletion should cover
Account deletion must address the associated profile, cards and replies, discovery records, notifications, personal documents and files, receipt records and provider copies as applicable. Hiding a record, freezing an account or uninstalling the app is not the same as permanent deletion.
Some invoice, security or legal records may require limited retention on an identified lawful ground. The operator must explain the categories retained, reason, duration and outcome. A recipient’s independent contact file or a merchant’s legally retained invoice may need a separate request to that party. Business owners should also preserve legally required records before requesting closure.
Acknowledgement and follow-up
We review requests, verify ownership proportionately and communicate the outcome, including any lawful retention exception and its duration, under the applicable privacy and data protection laws. Follow up at info@emiral.app. You may also complain to the competent privacy or consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction. A purchase or app reinstallation is not required to make a request.
